GENERAL:

​

• Born 1949

• An architect, graduated 1972, Cairo University, Egypt

• Started drawing and painting at age 6, under the supervision of his mother

• His mother was a talented painter and a wonderful mother

• Won first prize in a contest held in 1963, Egypt

• Held his 1st exhibition in 1965, Egypt, followed by another 2 in 1966 and 1967

• He works in oil, water color mainly in addition to acrylic, pastel, pen and ink, graphite and computer 

• Immigrated to Canada in the early 90's and participated in exhibitions in the Middle East prior to immigration

• Exhibited in Margot Adams Gallery, NYC, USA from 2006-2009

• Some of his artworks were printed in California 2007

• Exhibited in Egypt 2008

PRIVATE COLLECTIONS:

• ​His artworks are possessed by private collectors in USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Sweden, Finland, South Africa, Philippines, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Syria, Morocco and Senegal

 

COMMISSIONS:

• Commissioned for paintings in several countries in the Middle East and abroad

 

TEACHING:

• Hedl and holds art lectures and workshops for drawing and painting in different medias in Canada, Egypt and Middle East

• Being a classical music fan, he, sometimes, holds lectures to introduce it to audiences who are willing to enjoy it
